Registration Schedule

For additional details on Spring 2018 registration, please see the information section of the Spring 2018 Schedule of Classes.

Students may register for classes on or after their scheduled classification below.
(Each new registration period begins at 7:00 a.m. on the designated day, unless otherwise stated.)

Returning Students

November 3-6 Graduates, Post-Bacc, Seniors (90+ hours), and Honors
November 7-8 Juniors (60-89 hours)
November 9-10 Sophomores (30-59 hours)
November 13-14 Freshmen
Nov. 15-Dec. 14 All classifications/alpha
December 18 Winter mini-term registration only, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Last day to register for Winter mini-term.  Classes begin and payment deadline for Winter mini-term.
Dec. 21-Jan. 12 All classifications/alpha, regular registration ends January 12 at 5:00 p.m.
January 16 Late registration: Graduates, Post-Bacc, Seniors (90+ hours), and Honors, begins at 8:00 a.m.
January 17 Late registration: All classifications/alpha, begins at 8:00 a.m.
January 18 Late registration: All classifications/alpha, late registration ends at 5:00 p.m.

 

New Students

Nov. 15-Dec. 14; Dec. 21-Jan. 7

All classifications/alpha.
Early advising/Registration option* - must complete the online orientation session.

December 18

Winter mini-term registration only, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Last day to register for Winter mini-term.  Classes begin and payment deadline for Winter mini-term.  (New students must submit application for admission no later than December 1.)
January 8-10 Registration or Change of schedule for students who already completed the online orientation session above.
January 11 Regular Orientation/Registration: All classifications, letters A - Z, begins at 8:00 a.m.
January 12 Regular Registration continues. Closes at 5:00 p.m.
January 16 Late Registration: Graduates, Post-Bacc, Seniors (90+ hours), and Honors, begins at 8:00 a.m. (New seniors must have met orientation requirement.)
January 17 Late Orientation/Registration: All classifications/alpha
January 18 Late Registration continues. Closes at 5:00 p.m.

*Admitted students with proof of TSI and documentation of the meningitis immunization requirement will be invited to participate in an optional early advising/registration program to secure class selection early.  This is an optional program that will require completion of the online orientation session. More information will be sent to eligible students.

Students choosing not to participate in the online orientation session will have to attend regular orientation on January 11 as indicated above, at which time advising and registration will occur.
(Late orientation is on January 17.)

 

New Distance Education Students

Nov. 15-Dec. 14;
Dec. 21-Jan. 12;
Jan. 16-18
All classifications/alpha.  Closes on January 18 at 5:00 p.m. 

Must complete online distance education orientation prior to registration.
