Registration Schedule

For additional details on Spring 2016 registration, please see the information section of the Spring 2016 Schedule of Classes.

Students may register for classes on or after their scheduled classification below.
(Each new registration period begins at 7:00 a.m. on the designated day, unless otherwise stated.)

TSI students must register in person at the Academic Success Center (McCullough Hall), during normal office hours, following the same classification schedule.

Returning Students:

October 28 - 29Graduates, Post-Bacc, Seniors (90+ hours), and Honors
Oct. 30 - Nov. 2Juniors (60-89 hours)
November 3 - 4Sophomores (30-59 hours)
November 5 - 6Freshmen
Nov. 7 - Dec. 10All classifications/alpha
December 14Winter Mini-Term classes only for students who did not early register
Dec. 17 - Jan. 15All classifications/alpha
January 19Late registration: Graduates, Post-Bacc, Seniors (90+ hours), and Honors, begins at 8:00 a.m.
January 20Late registration: All classifications/alpha, begins at 8:00 a.m.
January 21Late registration: All classifications/alpha, registration ends at 5:00 p.m.


New Students:

Nov. 7 - Dec. 10; Dec. 17 - Jan. 10All classifications/alpha.
Early advising/Registration option* - must complete the online orientation session.
January 11 - 13Change of schedule for students who already completed the online orientation session above.
January 14Regular Orientation/Registration: All classifications, letters A - Z, begins at 8:00 a.m.
January 15Regular Registration continues. Closes at 5:00 p.m.
January 19Late Registration: Graduates, Post-Bacc, Seniors (90+ hours), and Honors, begins at 8:00 a.m. (New seniors must have met orientation requirement.)
January 20Late Orientation/Registration: All classifications/alpha
January 21Late Registration continues. Closes at 5:00 p.m.

*Admitted students with proof of TSI and documentation of the meningitis immunization requirement will be invited to participate in an optional early advising/registration program to secure class selection early.  This is an optional program that will require completion of the online orientation session. More information will be mailed to eligible students from the Mustangs Advising Center.

Students choosing not to participate in the online orientation session will have to attend regular orientation on January 14 as indicated above, at which time advising and registration will occur.
(Late orientation is on January 20.)


New Distance Education Students:

Nov. 7 - Dec. 10; Dec. 17 - Jan. 15; Jan. 19 - 21All classifications/alpha.  Closes on January 21 at 5:00 p.m. 

Must complete online distance education orientation prior to registration.
