2016 – 2017  Interdisciplinary Study on Nursing, Respiratory Care and Social Work Undergraduate Students’ Practice of, Attitudes Toward, and Knowledge/Skills with Evidence-based Practice. The purpose of the study is to identity patterns of adoption throughout the learning process, discover ways to support learning, and develop EBP skills to ensure competency upon graduation. (Funded by: Faculty Development Grant $4,999.00).  

2016 – 2017    Evaluation of Student's Development in Evidence Based Practice while in Graduate School. PI: Dr. Kathleen Williamson and MSU Graduate Student Janelle Muckle. The purpose of this study is to evaluate what influences how well students grasp the concept of evidence-based practice and how they integrate it into nursing. The knowledge, skills and attitude in EBP will be measured in an effort to further evaluate and develop nurse readiness abilities.
