Responsibilities:
Teach part-time in the Advanced Practice Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program. Teach graduate nursing courses in the Family Nurse Practitioner program. Collaborate with faculty to develop, teach, organize, and evaluate courses, clinical sites, and student experiences for the graduate program. Advise and mentor students, as well as participate in faculty governance.
Qualifications:
Required: MSN, Doctorate degree or enrollment in a doctoral program with clear completion date; advanced practice RN license or eligibility for Texas licensure as an advanced practice family nurse practitioner. Preferred: Teaching experience in Family Nurse Practitioner program.
