Responsibilities
Teach graduate nursing courses in the Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program. Collaborate with faculty to develop, teach, organize, and evaluate courses, clinical sites, and student experiences for the graduate program. Advise and mentor students, as well as participate in faculty governance
Qualifications
Required: MSN, Doctorate degree or enrollment in a doctoral program with clear completion date; advanced practice RN license or eligibility for Texas licensure as an advanced practice psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner; assistant professor must be willing to earn a doctorate. Preferred: Teaching experience in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
