Beverly L. Stiles, Ph.D.

Dr. Stiles graduated from Midwestern State University with B.A. degrees in both sociology and social work. She earned her M.A. degree in sociology from Baylor University and her Ph.D. from Texas A&M University at College Station. Dr. Stiles' primary areas of interest include the family, gender, deviance, social psychology, and disability. She is currently researching HIV/AIDS compliance and the delivery of the bad news of HIV status, along with Drs. Clark and LaBeff. She is also currently Sociology Department Chair.
