How do I apply for admission to MSU’s Graduate program?
Do I have to take the GRE or GMAT?
Yes. All graduate programs, with the exception of the Business Administration program, require that you submit official GRE scores to be considered for admission as a degree-seeking student. However, those who hold a Master’s degree and are seeking an additional Master’s degree are not required to submit GRE scores. The Dillard College of Business requires that you submit official GMAT scores in order to be considered for admission into the MBA program.
How can I learn more about the Bacterial Meningitis Vaccine?
Pursuant to Texas Senate Bill 1107 (found here), beginning January 1, 2012, all Texas colleges and universities are required to collect documentation of the bacterial meningitis vaccination status for all first-time, former, and transfer students. Scholarships and other financial assistance are available at MSU. To apply for the Graduate Merit Scholarship, download the application here. The application should be completed, including the requested signatures, and turned in to the Office of Graduate School before the May 1st deadline.

If I did not attend MSU for one semester, how do I register for classes?
If a student has not attended MSU for one semester and wishes to return they need to fill out a Graduate Student Reactivation form. This applies only to students who have not graduated and are returning to the same program as before. To receive a Graduate Student Reactivation form, please contact the Office of Graduate Admissions at (940) 397-4920.
How do I register for classes if I have not attended MSU for one year or more?
If you have not attended MSU for one year or more, you must submit a new application along with the $35 application fee. You can complete an application at applytexas.org.
