The Public Relations Campaigns course gives students the opportunity to apply everything they have learned from Public Relations Principles, Public Relations Writing, and other mass communication courses to a real-world project by working with a local non-profit organization.
After conducting research and identifying the organization’s public relations needs, students plan, develop and implement a short-term Public Relations campaign. It’s a win-win project: Students get verifiable public relations experience prior to graduating while the organization gets help with its public relations efforts.
Some of the projects students have developed are:
