Real-world experience is the basis of our award-winning mass communication program. It is our program's combination of academic preparation and skills training that employers and graduate schools find appealing.
Concepts taught in class are tested with the campus newspaper (The Wichitan), explored in the television station, and applied in required internships. Training on modern equipment enhances skills important in today's competitive job market. Documentaries, public relations campaigns, graphic design projects, and writing exercises help prepare students for graduate school or their job search after graduation.
