Academic Advising at MSU

MSU’s Academic Advising model relies on Academic Counselors assigned to each college and reporting to college Deans to coordinate student progress toward degree. Undecided students and student athletes are advised in The Tutoring & Academic Support Programs Office:

Student-athletes work with an Academic Counselor (or faculty advisor) to create a course schedule, and the Student-athletes Academic Advisor reviews schedules to ensure reasonable course-loads and NCAA compliance.

Are you a new student enrolling in Fall 2018? Attendance at Early Orientation is a requirement for students participating in the optional early advising and registration program. Click here for more info on orientation.
