Founded in 1922 as Wichita Falls Junior College, Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, has grown into a four-year liberal arts university with more than 6,000 students. The University provides excellent learning resources and a dedicated teaching faculty comprised of active scholars and experienced professional teachers. Midwestern is the only university in Texas to become a member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges (COPLAC).
