Academic Advising is an essential part of effective academic planning at Midwestern State University. All undergraduate students are required to meet with an academic advisor every semester prior to course registration to ensure students have the support and direction to achieve one’s academic goals. First-year students are advised in the Mustangs Advising Center (MAC) or in a professional college, after which a faculty or staff advisor is assigned to each student based on a student’s major or program of study.

Business Office

Located in the Hardin Administration Building, the MSU Business Office is responsible for billing and collecting student tuition, fees, campus housing/dining costs, and other university-related charges. The office also invoices third-party agencies, audits MSU student accounts, and processes student refunds. Everything students should know about understanding their bills, making payments, and getting refunds is available in person or online.

Career Management Center

The Career Management Center presents several opportunities for students to be introduced to and guided through the professional development process using a wide variety of helpful services focused on preparing students for significant and personally satisfying careers while learning how to effectively market oneself to prospective employers. Services include the opportunity to post resumes on-line, browse through employment and internship postings, interview and network with employers, take graduate/professional development courses, and attend career expos and fairs.
