Semester Long Service Projects
An excellent example of our students caring for the community, this award winning program develops an exclusive partnership with a non-profit organization in the Wichita Falls community.
Each semester, one local non-profit organization is selected using student input and feedback. Once chosen, goals are set between the university and the organization to maximize the benefit of the partnership, and ensure that we are efforts our focused on serving those most in need. Numerous activities and philanthropic programs are organized to benefit the selected agency in hopes to provide a transformative experience for the organization and our students, faculty, and staff.
Recent partnerships have included - Habitat for Humanity (our first partner), Wichita Falls Big Brothers Big Sisters, North Texas Area United Way, Wichita Falls Area Food Bank, Wichita County Humane Society and our most current partner, Boys & Girls Clubs of Wichita Falls.
This semester the university will be partnering with the Habitat for Humanity. Click here to Sign Up!
