Computer- Based Test Center Administrator
Serves as the lead administrator and proctor for all computer-based examinations provided by the Testing Center Prometric lab. Upholds the professional standards and guidelines established by the National Collegiate Testing Association and by Prometric testing services. Serves as the primary liaison with ETS/Prometric. Reports to the Director of the Career Management Center and Testing Services and is supervised by the Associate Director of the Career management Center and Testing Services.
Maintains test security and ensures a quiet, suitable testing environment for all examinees. Strictly adheres to Prometric standards, policies, and procedures. Maintains security of all testing materials and equipment. Upholds confidentiality and integrity of testing results. Prepares and assists examinees prior to each computer-based examination. Interacts weekly with Prometric district manager. Attends regular web training sessions to stay abreast of new policies and procedures. Supervises part-time employees and student assistants. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience working with paper-based and/or computer-based test administrations; experience with office management.
Strong computer usage skill set including the Web and Microsoft office systems. Knowledge of computer-based test administration; basic knowledge of computer networking terminology.
A bachelor’s degree required; masters preferred.
Maintains a current Certification of Authorization for Prometric test administration. Must maintain confidentiality of examinees. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Requires excellent customer service skills. *Regular reliable attendance is required. *This position is designated as security sensitive and requires a criminal background check.
