Responsible for the registration of students, maintenance of student records, enforcement of graduation policies, certification of athletes, TASP compliance, and VA certification. Coordinates publication of class schedules and graduate and undergraduate catalogs. Organizes student participation in commencement and maintains official course inventory. Reports to the Provost/Vice President Academic Affairs.
Serves as member of enrollment management council, and Ex-Officio member of Academic and Graduate Councils. Works with college deans on the publication of schedules, develops academic calendar, organizes registration schedule for students. Collects catalog data from colleges and edits catalog copy. Organizes registration procedures and collects student data for state reporting; supervises staff of ten and several student assistants; works with Information Systems to develop and prioritize programming requests.
Physical Condition:
Three to five years experience in records and/or admissions with experience at a public institution preferred. Three to five years experience in management and supervision of a large staff as well as experience in developing and administering a budget.
Must have a thorough knowledge of student registration procedures; computerized student information systems and personal computers; general office practices and procedures; budgeting; and the use of commonly used word processing and spread sheet office software, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Masterís degree required

Must have good management, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills and must be service oriented. Some travel required. *Regular reliable attendance is required. *This position is designated as security sensitive and requires a criminal background check.
