MSU’s Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) is an undergraduate research initiative called EURECA (Enhancing Undergraduate Research Endeavors and Creative Activities) and has been designed to fit into the QEP focus for undergraduate research.
The EURECA Advisory Committee will receive research proposals from Faculty which will are designed for undergraduate participation. Upon approval of the research project, a faculty member will be paired with a student to work on the project during a single semester. Faculty are encouraged to recruit students to apply and will be paired with students whom they recommend. Both the faculty member and the student will receive a stipend for contributing to the research project. All students and faculty participating in EURECA will meet once a month to discuss their respective projects and the research process in general. Additionally, projects will be presented at an annual campus symposium as well as academic conferences.
