Not sure of what you want to major in? No worry, Mustangs Rally is a great first look at MSU and a great opportunity for you to get a feel for campus life as a MUSTANG! Mustangs Rally is designed to allow prospective high school students and their parents the opportunity to meet with faculty within an academic major. Discover MSU allows junior, senior, and transfer students to get a more in depth look at their major here at MSU. Come and learn more about your major and possible career opportunities from distinguished faculty within you academic college. You will also tour housing and learn more about the admissions process. Click on the college name below for a tentative agenda of the day's events.
Transfer Day is an exclusive program for transfer students looking to make MSU their university. Transfer Day will allow you tour campus and housing facilities, learn about MSU student life and activities and have your transcripts reviewed by MSU Admissions.
MSU Admissions offers daily tours, by appointment, Monday through Friday at 10:00 a.m. and again at 2:00 p.m. During your visit you will meet an MSU Admissions Counselor, tour an academic building, visit our freshmen housing, Clark Student Center, and Redwine Wellness Center. Our tours last approximately 90 minutes and are led by a current MSU student. To schedule a tour, please contact the MSU Welcome Center at 940-397-6284 or 800-842-1922.
High School Groups
MSU encourages schools to bring their students to campus for a more in depth look at MSU. High School groups visiting MSU include a 30 minute “College 101” presentation and student led tour of the campus. Our “College 101” session will include information about applying to college, understanding financial aid, and campus life. If schools/groups would like they may eat lunch in our Mesquite Dining Hall for a small fee.
Middle School/Junior High Groups
MSU offers a high school plus program for 7th and 8th grade students. High School plus programs include a 30 minute presentation of MSU and various types of colleges. In addition to the presentation, students will be able to tour the campus and freshmen housing. Student groups can request the option of dining on campus in our all-you-can eat buffet style Mesquite Dining Hall for a small fee.
