Jenny Phagan

Location:  Los Angeles, CA
Occupation: Actress, Casting Assistant

"I loved my time at MSU.  I learned so much from the professors about theatre and about myself.  I also made valuable friendships and met amazing people who are still my best friends to this day."

After graduating from MSU, Jenny attended the University of Arkansas and received her M.F.A. in acting.   She regularly works in voiceover and commercials, can be seen in the recent film Spork, and appeared in a recent episode of Franklin & Bash.  She is represented by Angel City Talent, TV and Film, and Hervey/Grimes Talent, Voice Over.

Dwayne Marshal Harris

(BFA, 2002)


Location:  Hartford, CT
Occupation: Fundraising Manager and Head of Developmental Operations at the Bushnel Theatre
"MSU allowed me to experience all facets of theatre on deep and meaningful levels.  Without my training I would never have been prepared to jump head first into the business activities of theatre."

Dwayne also worked for Hartford Stage in Connecticut from 2002-2006, and he was part of the team who worked on the 2003 Tony-nominated production of Enchanted April.

Occupation: Business affairs for Disney Theatrical Group on the Broadway, Touring, and International production of Mary Poppins and The Lion King, as well as the development of new work and licensing.

"I was able to to build a sizable resume of real work that was invaluable to me in my graduate school applications and subsequent career."

After graduating from MSU, Jessica attended Columbia University and received her M.F.A. in theatre management and producing.

Sara Corley

Location:  Frankston, TX
Occupation: Junior High One-Act Play Director and High School Univeristy Interscholastic League Co-Coordinator

Emilie Buske

(BFA, 2000)


Location:  Bedford, TX
Occupation: Creative Dramatics Teacher at Creekside Elementary in Lewisville, TX

"Because of MSU's size and available opportunities, I was able to train and learn about all aspects of theatre. This has aided me in all of my jobs, volunteer work, and now as a teacher."

Since graduating, Emilie has also worked at Texas Nonprofit Theatres, Theatre Communications Group in New York City, and Theatre Arlington as Marketing Director.
