Website Design

Students taking Website Design learn the fundamentals of planning, constructing, and organizing Web pages into a cohesive unit. Students also learn to lay out text images, as well as edit and up-load the pages to the Internet. Design, usability, and accessibility principles are introduced, explained, and learned through hands-on activities.

Select Spring 2009 students worked as a team to create logos for their client, the Region 9 P-16 Council. The students worked with the P-16 Executive Director and the Dean of the West College of Education throughout the development process to produce logos in English and Spanish that are displayed on the Region 9 website, brochures, letterhead, and various other promotional materials.
