Internships in Mass Communication

Concepts taught in class are tested with the campus newspaper, The Wichitan, explored at the MSU TV-2 television station, and applied in advertising campaigns. Both mass media internships and training with state-of-the-art equipment enhance skills important in today's competitive job market.

All mass communication majors are required to complete internships. Students work for a variety of organizations in a variety of fields, including television production, radio, newspaper, sports information, advertising, event planning, non-profit agencies and more.
