Nationally Recognized Educator Preparation Programs

Programs comprising the Educator Preparation Programs are reviewed to assess the quality of teacher preparation. A decision of National Recognition indicates that a program, initial or advanced, has met professional standards and will continue the designation through the next review.  Nationally Recognized Programs at Midwestern State University meet standards established by a specialized professional association (SPA) that is a member organization of NCATE. In addition, some programs are nationally accredited by other organizations that are also recognized by NCATE.
