Welcome to the Department of Educational Leadership & Educational Technology!
We offer a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership (with principal certification)and a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology. We offer a Principal Certification Only program. for students who already have a master’s degree; the degree plan will be developed individually for each student depending on what courses have been taken previously. Our programmatic offerings also include an 18-hour Superintendent Certification Preparation Program, scheduled in cohorts of 5 or more students.
A combination of distance education via video conferencing and on-line classes allow our Educational Leadership program and Educational Technology program to be accessed by students from across the state and nation. Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Bilingual Education/ELL requires attendance at several classes on campus. Our classes are primarily taught by full-time faculty members. Classes are typically small, allowing close professor-student contact. We get to know our students personally whether at a distance or face-to-face; we communicate easily and frequently via email and phone. Our Educational Leadership faculty has extensive experience in public education as well as at the university level.
If you are interested in a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Bilingual Education/ELL, a principal certification only (if you already have a master’s degree), a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology, or a superintendent certification, please contact me for further details. We would love to work with you!
